Description
This trail can be accessed by the trailhead is West across
the street from the Zion Park Lodge. There are several routes you can
do. If you'd liketo do a loop you can run to the middle pool, then on
to the upper pool, then take the route from the upper pool down to the
lower pool. This route is approx. 2.2 miles. The trail is primarily
on dirt trail. On the lower pools trail it is paved from the pool to
the mail road to the Zion Park Lodge.
The pools are really pleasant as they are endowed with greenery and
towering cliffs overhead. Plenty of fat grey squirrles are nearby too.
Directions
1. Begin by taking exit 6, toward Hurricane, Utah from
the freeway I-15.
2. Follow this through Hurricane and continue on following the signs
to Zion National Park, about 32 miles.
3. Drive to the park. If you are headed between April and October you
will need to park in Springdale at a designated spot and catch the shuttle
as the Zion NP shuttle is the only vehicle allowed up the Zion Scenic
Drive. You can check the
shuttle schedule here.
4. You must pay to enter the park so ensure you either pay the day fee
or buy a pass, more info on fees.
