West
Canyon Trail - Snow Canyon State Park
Description This road is a quite winding pathway that travels North up West Canyon, a canyon that is a part of Snow Canyon State Park. The road follows the canyon floor winding through fields of sagebrush and along the west side of the canyon wall. The course takes you out near the base of some majestic 1400' cliffs of white and red sandstone. No GPS needed here, the course is easy to follow. The park charges $5 to enter but it is worth the run. The Spectrum 10k race in April each years is actually along this trail. Bathrooms at at the trail head too. Vehicles are not allowed on this route so you won't need to worry about any traffic less the rabbits and ravens lurking the area! Directions Have a trip report? Post it here. |
